Karen Røise Kielland (Oslo, 1975) is a Norwegian director, performer and writer. After her studies at the Amsterdam School of the Arts, she co-founded Blood for Roses with Anne Rooschüz. Her work has been showed and co-produced by among others Over Het IJ Festival, Festival a/d Werf and Hetveem theatre in the Netherlands and Henie Onstad Kunstsenter and Black Box teater in Oslo.

Between 2006 and 2012 she was part of Ivana Müllers I’M COMPANY. Her book Å gå med Kølle (Walking with Kølle) was published at Forlaget Oktober in the spring of 2019.
